Haryana contemplates introducing a new system for recovery of cooperative loan , Cooperation Minister Satpal Sangwan said today in Chandigarh.
The Cooperative banks excelling in the recovery of loans will be rewarded, Mr Sangwan said after laying the foundation-stone of a building of the Primary Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank in Bhiwani in Haryana.
The interest relief scheme for those who repay their loans regularly has been extended up to March 31, 2015, the minister informed.
The bank officials who are caught demanding money from loanees will be sternly dealt with, warned Mr Sangwan.
