Uttar Pradesh Chapter of Sahakar Bharati felicitated Ram Palat Patel, the newly elected director of Uttar Pradesh Sahakari Gram Vikas Bank from Allahabad-Mirzapur Division in Prayagaraj.
On this occasion, representatives held a discussion on several issues pertaining to the development of the cooperative sector.
The meeting was presided over by the Sahakar Bharati State Vice-President R P Singh Baghel. Sahakar Bharati Prayagraj Chairman Prashant Rai, organizing secretary Pawan Kumar and others were also present.
The representatives urged Patel to announce a financial package for reviving the Sahkari Gram Vikas Bank. In cooperatives there should be a Democratic control system for the appointment of professional managers, the participants felt.
