In order to keep healthy, Gujarat based Surat People’s Cooperative Bank is giving a loan of Rs 50k at the zero rate of interest to its employees for purchasing bicycles, according to media reports.
The name of the scheme is ‘Change for Change’ which was launched on 2nd October.
The bank GM Jatin Naik said, “The scheme was launched on Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and in the span of one week about 62 employees have registered themselves to come on bicycles on Friday”.
