Tribune reports most opposition parties including Congress are likely to oppose government ordinances in particular banking regulation amendment in the monsoon session of parliament. Congress says it will weaken the cooperative banking system.
The fourth Bill is the Banking Regulation Act Amendment Bill, which poses a threat to cooperative banks.
Several other opposition parliamentarians have also expressed their misgivings about the banking regulation Act amendment bill.
