Despite Corona scare looming over the horizon, IFFCO’s MD Dr U S Awasthi continues to be busy meeting employees and conducting business meetings virtually. On Wednesday Dr Awasthi conducted the quarterly review meeting online while a day earlier he interacted with all his employees across the country through the video conferencing.

Using technology Awasthi reviewed progress with all the state marketing managers across India. Senior key officials of IFFCO Plants were present along with the key officials of headquarters were also present, MD revealed in a tweet.

A day earlier, Awasthi appealed to more than 2000 IFFCO employees to take all protective measures against the coronavirus. MD thanked his employees for giving their full support during Covid-19.

From Jammu Kashmir to Tamil Nadu to Assam to Kutch everyone registered their presence through video conference. More than 2000 participants including all the five plants of IFFO and officials of the Delhi headquarters were present.

In his address IFFCO MD said, “I am proud of all my employees, officials, plant, union associations and everyone attached to IFFCO for giving such brilliant support to IFFCO”.

There is no doubt IFFCO employees have relentlessly worked day and night during the corona scare and helped the needy with all the resources. IFFCO field officers have even run social awareness campaigns on ground zero and educated the farmers on how to protect themselves from Covid-19.

Sharing the news through social media IFFCO MD wrote, ” Addressed & interacted with all #IFFCO employees across the country. More than 2000 participants joined. My appeal to all: Wear Mask, Maintain Social Distance, Do Yoga. Safety is must & important for all. Help each other. Let’s keep serving the nation & farmers”.

One of his followers and IFFCO’s Paradeep Unit Head Kiritkumar J Patel wrote, “Proud to have you as our caring Leader sir. Folded hands We are blessed to receive your guidance at all times and IFFCO’s Paradeep Unit family is obliged for your kind appreciation and motivation”.

Another wrote, “Respected Sir, what an inspiring and motivational address. You have a charismatic and magical visionary way to motivate each and every person in such a way that everyone gives their maximum productivity for the growth and prosperity of our esteemed organisation and the farmers”.

Tweet of MD detailing Wednesday’s meeting read “Today, at #IFFCO, we conducted the quarterly review meeting online by using technology. All state marketing managers across #India and senior key officials IFFCO Plants were present along with key officials at head office. The technology indeed brings people closer. #IFFCOAtWork.”
