On the occasion of International Day of Cooperatives, Gujarat (Amreli) based Bhagyalakshmi Mahila Credit and Consumer Cooperative Society announced an interest free loan for its members under the Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojna.
Sharing the details with Indian Cooperative Society Chairman Bhavana Gondaliya said, “In the current situation people are grappling with the financial crisis and in order to help them our society has announced the interest free loan for our members under the Atmanirbhar Gujarat Sahay Yojana ”.
“Earlier Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani announced the scheme where the government is giving 6 percent interest to banks giving loan under the scheme and just 2 percent will be given by the borrower but our society will not take this 2 percent interest from the members so it is an interest free loan for them”, she informed.
She further added that this interest free scheme will last till 15 days and loans will be provided on a first come first served basis. We have made a fund of Rs 2 crore for giving interest free loan and we are expecting 300 members to get benefit”, Gondaliya underlined.
The Chairman of Bhagyalakshmi Mahila Credit and Consumers’ Cooperative Society expressed her gratitude towards the Gujarat veteran cooperator Dileep Sanghani.
