In a bid to computerize the activities of the State Cooperative Bank and District Central Cooperative Banks, Uttarakhand State Cooperative Minister Dhan Singh Rawat laid emphasis on setting up e-lobbies.
Addressing a meeting in Uttarakhand’s secretariat, the Minister said along with the ATMs we are also ahead in setting up e-lobbies in the SCB and DCCBs. Besides, we are in the process to computerize the PACCS.
He further added, seventy new branches of the state and district cooperative banks are to be opened in the state. Their progress was also reviewed. Apart from this, guidelines were also given for setting up 35 e-lobbies and 45 ATMs in various areas”, he claimed.
In the meeting Cooperative Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Registrar Cooperatives B M Mishra, Additional Registrar Ira Upreti and other departmental officers were present
