Even Small Cooperative institutions spread across the country are contributing and supporting the government in all possible ways to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
In order to help the government, Maharashtra based Kamal Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, Alibag contributed Rs 2.19 lakh towards the Chief Minister Relief fund last week.
The bank Chairman Satishchandra Dwarkanath Patil, Director Nandakumar Chalke and Lalit Bhise handed over a cheque to Nidhi Chaudhari, Collector of Raigad district in Maharashtra.
Sharing the news with Indian Cooperative, the society’s founder Chairman Girish Tulpule said, “We have 
contributed our 1 percent of profit towards the CM relief fund. Our bank management has handed over the cheque of Rs 2.19 lakh to the District Collector of Raigad, Maharashtra”.
Besides, the society has also donated the masks and sanitizers worth Rs 15k to the local police of Raigad district. Our Chairman Satishchandra Dwarkanath Patil, Secretory Kaustubh Jeevan Kulkarni, Director Vikram Oswal gave masks and sanitizers to API Yamgar and API Sabale Raigad Police Maharashtra, Tulpule said.
Kamal nagari sahakari patsanstha was founded in Alibag on 4th April 1992. The total business is Rs 350 crore and earned a net profit of Rs 2.19 crore in the last financial year. The society has a network of 13 branches across Raigad district.
