South Canara District Central Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank would be donating one crore rupees to fight Coronavirus, said its Chairman Rajendra Kumar, reports the Hindu.
He also informed that Karnataka State Cooperative Apex Bank will contribute Rs 50 lac and the employees of SCDCC Bank will donate a day’s salary.
Kumar urged cooperative societies to extend maximum financial assistance for this task.
It is the duty of everyone associated with the cooperative sector to provide financial support, medical equipment and other things to handle this exigency’, he underlined.
