Addressing the 90th Annual General Meeting of Uttar Pradesh based Deoria Zila Sahkari Bank, State Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari Verma said Cooperative Banks would play an important role in doubling the income of farmers. The meeting took place last week.
He said the government would lay emphasis on improving cooperative banks and restores their lost reputation.
Sharing the information through social media, Verma wrote on his twitter wall, “Today attended the Annual General Meeting of Deoria Zila Sahakari Bank as the Chief Guest”.
The bank officials presented the annual report before the delegates on the occasion.
Local MLA Janmajey Singh, Ganga Singh Kushwaha, Lalan Mishra, Sanjay Rao and others also attended the meeting.
