Maharashtra government has asked the financially beleaguered sugar cooperative factories not to employ people afresh until a roadmap is adopted reports Free Press Journal.
The government says this will help cooperative sugar factories restrict their growing administrative expenses.
It is said the ban on recruitment was imperative as there are some sugar cooperative factories that have already recruited people in excess of the accepted pattern.
