Balasaheb Patil, Chairman of Karad based Sahyadri Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana in Maharashtra has been assigned the ministry of cooperation in the recent allocation of portfolios. Patil is from Nationalist Congress Party.
He is also on the board of Satara District Central Cooperative Bank and has a long experience in the cooperative sector.
He is an MLA from Karad North Vidhan Sabha constituency in Satara district.
Patil is a post graduate from Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
