On the occasion of Engineers Day Metroman Padmavibhushan Dr E Sreedharan visited UL Cyber Park built by the pride of construction co-operatives in the country Kerala based Uralungal Labour Contract Cooperative Society (ULCCS).
In a related news Hindu reports that ULCCS will rebuild the Palarivattom flyover on the National Highway 66 bypass in Kochi.
The repaired flyover will replace the one constructed in 2016.” Principal Adviser, DMRC, E. Sreedharan will supervise the repair works of the old flyover.
The 17 spans of the old flyover will be replaced with pre-stressed concrete and the girders and slabs will also be changed.
The massive repair works to be carried out in the old flyover will cost about Rs 18.5 crore to the exchequer.
