New Indian Express reports Kerala government told the Kerala High Court that it has yet to decide about unconditionally writing off the debts of three cooperative bodies.
Kerala State Rubber Cooperative (Rubco), Kerala State Co-operative Marketing Federation (Marketfed) and Kerala State Cooperative Rubber Marketing Federation (Rubbermark) had petitioned the High Court saying the state govt. would write off debts to help them overcome their financial difficulties.
However, the govt. has unequivocally stated that the three cooperatives are required to repay the OTS amount with interest within a specific time.
