MSC Bank gives Rs 5 crore to CM Relief Fund

Maharashtra State Cooperative (MSC) Bank has handed over a cheque of Rs 5 crore to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for the CM Relief Fund during an event titled “Sugar Conference 2020” in Pune on Sunday.

Vidyadhar Anaskar, Chairman of the Administrative board of MSC Bank and other board members including Avinash Mahagaonkar, Sanjay Bhende and A.R.Deshmukh, were present when the cheque was given on behalf of the bank. Maharashtra Cooperative Minister Subhash Deshmukh, Nitin Gadkari, National Sugar Cooperative Federation Chairman Dilip Walse Patil and others were also present on the occasion.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced that he would form an inter-ministerial group for sugar industry in the coming three days and assured that all their projects would be approved through a single window system.

Sugar is an important business in Maharashtra. About 5.5 crore farmers are associated with it.
