Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank Limited (JSCBL) has forayed into health insurance business for account holders of cooperative bank. The bank plans to sell insurance policy through its 105 branches spread across the State, reports the Pioneer.
The Bank has joined hand with health insurance giant Religare Healthcare Insurance Company (RHIC) to sell its schemes in the State. The bank and RHIC has launched ‘Grameen Care’ with policy amount of Rs 50,000 to Rs 5, 00,000 with premium of Rs. 1800 to Rs.8172.
JSCBL president Abhaykant Prasad along with JSCBL, Managing Director, Sushil Kumar and RHIC Director, Chandrakant Mishra along with RHIC Business Head, Jharkhand, Sushil Kumar jointly unveiled the insurance policies here on Monday.
