National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has given regional national awards to seven cooperatives of Madhya Pradesh for doing spectacular work in the year 2018.
Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Minister Govind Singh congratulated the selected cooperatives for the awards. The prize distribution ceremony was held recently in the coordination hall of Bhopal.
Jaati Sewa Sahakari Sanstha, Sorwa, Alirajpur and Jaati Sewa Sahakari Sanstha, Chandpur, Alirajpur have been selected for the first and the second prizes.
In the women category, Indore based Swashree Mahila Sakh Sahakari Sansthan, Indore and Dindori based Rani Durgavati Murgi Palak Sahakari Samiti have been selected for the first and the second prizes.
In the Marketing category, Jhabua based marketing cooperative won the first award and Indore based Sahakari Cold Storage Sanstha won the second award. In the thrift category, Sadguru Credit Society will be given the award.
