Excise Department officials raided the office and houses of Balasore-Bhadrak Central Cooperative Bank Assistant Manager Ajit Kumar Hota for amassing assets disproportionate to his known source of income, reports KalingaTV.
Notably, Hota was working as a Nodal Officer for paddy procurement earlier during which a number allegations had surfaced against him.
Four teams of anti-corruption sleuths took part in the raid this morning following an order from Balasore Vigilance SP and simultaneous searches were conducted at four places.
