Reacting on the news of Ramdev’s Patanjali foray into dairy, GCMMF MD R.S.Sodhi said he views Patanjali’s entry as a sign of the market growth rather than a threat.
There are scope for everybody as India is a huge market and there is scope for everyone, said Sodhi.
Sodhi said that the entry of serious players is, in fact blessing in disguise as it raises the bar of performance. GCMMF, the leading player welcome competition, Sodhi added.
It bears recall that Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali has diversified into selling dairy products, the announcement was made in a press conference in New Delhi.
