The Yogi government in UP will allow sale of Yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali products through cooperative societies. In the initial phase, societies in 14 districts of three divisions – Saharanpur, Moradabad and Meerut – will sell these products, reports TOI.
These societies that will sell Patanjali’s products are run by the government under the Cooperative Societies Act, 1912.
Cooperatives in other districts will also begin selling Patanjali products soon. Cooperatives employees will train at Patanjali’s Haridwar centre for storing and handling of products as well as maintaining stock books online.
