Please help me on the following query if possible –
“Can the same Managing Committee members (or may be a few of them), if interested, and if elected, continue to be Office bearers even after their 5 year term is over? Let’s say the Society members are happy with the present Managing Committee and in the Society elections unanimously vote for them to continue as Committee members for the next 5 years. Is this acceptable as per Society Laws?”

Yes. The society should follow the election procedure as per the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies (Election to Committee) Rules, 2014including that for election of office bearers. After that the retiring Management Committee and office bearers may occupy their earlier positions if elected.
