Central government officials are all praise for Karimnagar District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) in Telangana and computerization of its Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) indicating that the model could be replicated across the country in a couple of years, reports Hindu.
Officials representing several departments visited Karimnagar to study the functioning of DCCB and its PACS. Officials visited Gattududdenapalli PACS and inspected the computerization module and online transactions. They also observed the functioning of DCCB bank and ATM services.
Talking to journalists, the officials said the computerization of PACS in particular stood out as a model for computerization of 63,000-odd PACS in the country.
