I want some information

1. How many members to organize the society by Multi States Co operative Act 2002?

2. Board of members as per bylaw how many persons?

3. How many members for portfolio?

4. How much members can put share capital?

5. Registered office (Head Office) can put in District Leve or Mandal level or Village level ?

1. As per section 5 of the Act, a Multi State Society having its main objects to serve the interests of members in more than one state can only be registered.

2.     As per section 6 of the Act Application for registration of a Multi State Cooperative Society must be signed by at least 50 persons drawn from every State to be served.

3.     Application is to be made to the Central Registrar New Delhi

4.     As per Section 10(2)(k) its proposed bye-laws shall state “the nature and amount of capital of the society including a minimum number of shares every member shall subscribe.

5.     Number of Board members shall be stated in bye-laws which shall not exceed 21. Section 10(2)(t).

6.     Registered Office can be located in any State.
