Speaking in a seminar on food processing in Odisha, R S Sodhi, MD, Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation said Amul would invest around Rs 250 Crore in the Dairy Sector in the state, according to Media Reports.
The seminar in Odisha was held outside the main seminar on ”opportunities in food processing ” held earlier in Delhi.
Sodhi said currently there is a supply gap of 30 Lac liters per day of milk in Odisha. He also revealed that Odisha is the 2nd biggest market for Amul in India.
Prafulla Samal Minister who chaired the seminar said Food Processing is a focus sector in Odisha.
