NCCE of NCUI recently organized the Leadership Development Training Programme for Chairmen and Directors of Fishery Cooperative Societies in New Delhi. More than 30 participants from different states of the country took part in the programme.
The prime objective of the programme was to improve the managerial skill for fisheries farming management.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. V. K. Dubey, Director, NCCE in his address, he stressed the importance of fisheries in the cooperative movement. Experts discussed different sectors of the cooperative movement.
The participants were provided information about the latest technologies, responsibilities in the management of cooperative societies & challenges coming across in the working of the societies.
The role of NCDC in Development of Fisheries through Cooperatives and Innovative Methods of Fish Farming was also discussed in the training programme. Ms. Veena Sachdeva, Asstt. Director coordinated the programme.
