There was an acrimonious discussion among shareholders of Mapusa Urban Co-operative Bank of Goa about the bank merger issue in the 52nd AGM of the bank.
They were angry that they had not been consulted in the matter. The members demanded the resignation of the management.
During the AGM, the shareholders wanted the board to explain why the bank’s financial condition has yet to improve.
