District Collector in Suryapet said action would be taken against the officials involved in the sale of lands belonging to cooperative societies in the district, reports Telangana Today.
Addressing the cooperative society members and officials, the Collector said criminal cases would be filed against officials who resort to such actions in violation of the law.
The Collector said the society members should also prepare a report and submit it to the officials and registers, which would help check the transactions of such lands.
