The recent farmers’ agitation in MP has had the domino effect in that about a dozen states across the country are affected by it. The latest in the concatenation of events is the farmers’ protest in Uttarakhand.

Congress strongman from Uttarakhand and a member of the NCUI board and IFFCO Board Pramod Kumar Singh led a farmers’ protest meeting against Bhartiya Janta Party in Gandhi Park, Dehradun on Wednesday.

Former Chief Minister Harish Singh Rawat and State Congress President Pritam Singh also participated in the farmers’ agitation.

It has been reported that a debt-ridden farmer recently committed suicide in Uttarakhand by hanging himself from a tree and Congress leaders described the situation as alarming.

Labeling the BJP government policies “anti-farmers, Congress leaders have demanded loan waiver for farmers in the state”.

It bears recall that now a days several veteran cooperators of the country have come out in the open supporting farmers’ demand for loan waiver.

NCUI is for farmers and couldnot help farmers and farmers commit suicide shame on NCUI. NCUI President and Governing Council members are not helping anybody instead they are filing their pockets from Ministry Funds sanctioned to NCUI. They even not supporting their own staff.
