Mrs Vasudha Mishra, MD of National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) visited IFFCO headquarters and met its Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi. NCDC is the major financing arm of the govt geared to the development of cooperatives in the country.
The two senior officials discussed development of cooperatives in the country. IFFCO MD wrote on his twitter wall “Today met Mrs. Vasudha Mishra, Managing Director of National #Cooperative Development Corporation at #IFFCO Sadan. Discussed Cooperatives”.
The finer details of the meeting were however, not made available.
NCDC has been making an important contribution in doubling the income of farmers and IFFCO is actively participated in cashless campaign and encouraging farmers to buy seeds and fertilizer with digital mode of payment.
