Will you please give your valuable opinion on the below detailed case under Gujarat Co-op.Housing Society Act.
The Joint property of Brother and Mother gifted Flat to Sister by Registered Gift Deed and asking the society to transfer the share certificate in favour of his Sister. The Society demand Transfer fee premium as per the usual practice. The Sister occupying the Flat from the beginning. Brother and Mother residing other premises.
Please advise your valuable opinion at the earliest.

Provision for Transfer Premium are as per Bye Laws of Your Society. So ask for copy of relevant bye law under which they are asking premium.
