Hardly a day goes by when cooperative bank are not being caught red handed laundering black money.
Income Tax department has seized Rs 1.56 crore, including Rs 1.38 crore in 2,000 rupee notes, from Integral Urban cooperative bank in Jaipur in Rajasthan, say media reports.
Investigation team says the stakeholders of the bank were replacing their unaccounted income with new notes.
Further investigation into the matter is on.
