Police in Gwalior, MP say they have raided the house of Zila Sahkari Bank manager posted in Guna district unearthing property worth Rs 5 crore, reports Free Press Journal.
The complaint had been received against the manager for owning property disproportionate to his known income, police say.
Police have found gold ornaments of 550 grams, 37 kilogram of silver ornaments and 17 bank accounts with Rs 17 lakh in deposits.
Documents relating to 37 properties have been found during the search. He owned a house worth around Rs 1 crore, which was designed by an architect from Indore and was well-furnished. He had recently shifted in the house.
Documents relating to 37 properties, six vehicles, including one SUV, Bolero, car, tractor and two motorcycles, Rs 7.76 lakh have been found during the search.
