I m staying at Mhada colony, Azad nagar, Andheri, Mumbai, Mahararshtra.
Our society has received notice for lease rent from MHADA stating that society has not paid lease rent from year 2007 to till date. Also levied penalty.
Kindly let us know we can represent it to mhada for not sending intimation every year.
Also want to know that the committee or members are responsible for that for not paying till date?

Ask the Committee to explain the delay. If you have paid your share to the Society you can dispute the penalty and inist on Committee to bear the same and write to Dy Registrar accordingly.
