NAFED Vice President and NAFSCOB Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani felicitated Vijay Rupani, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Gujarat at the residence of Bhupendrasinh Chudasama then education minister in the Anandiben Patel government.
Sanghani met Rupani soon after the announcement of his name by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari last week.
Talking to Indian Cooperative Sanghani said the newly appointed minister of state for agriculture Purshottam Rupala and other ministers also felicitated the Chief Minister when leaders from the BJP met Governor Mr O P Kohli to stake their claim for forming the new government.The meeting lasted half an hour, Sanghani added.
Vijay Rupani was sworn in as the new Chief Minister along with Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel at the Mahtma Mandir conference hall in Gandhinagar on Sunday.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by top leaders including L.K. Advani, Arun Jaitley, Chief Ministers of Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
