Pandurang Fundkar’s appointment as agriculture minister in the Fundnavis govt in Maharashtra has sparked controversy in the political circles in Mumbai, reports DNA.
Commentators find it incomprehensible that Fundakar one of the suspended directors of Maharashtra state cooperative bank and who is currently under investigation for mismanagement of funds and irregularities could manage to get a seat in the Fadnavis cabinet.
The move has not only angered opposition but also many in the ruling party. A source close to the BJP said this would definitely wear down Fadnavis’ clean image.
