Felicitations of Jyotindra Mehta popularly known as mamaji after his election to the post of the President of urban cooperative banks’ apex body NAFCUB are continuing non-stop. On Thursday it was the turn of BJP President Amit Shah who greeted Mehta on his victory in Delhi.
On a tour of Delhi to attend the Board meetings of both NAFCUB and NCUI Mehta was earlier felicitated by Gujarat Governor Mr O P Kohli in an impressive function at Ahmadabad. The function was jointly organized by the Gujarat State Urban Banks Federation and Gujarat State Co-operative Bank.
Gujarat State Governor Om Prakash Kohli was the Chief Guest at a function organized in the auditorium of GSCB in Ahmadabad. Several prominent cooperators of the state including Satish Marathe and GH Amin were present on the occasion.
In Rajkot- his area of operation, he was offered felicitations in the Sahkar Samman Samaroh at Arvindbhai Maniar Nagrik Sevalay earlier. Amco Bank also felicitated him by offering him a memento.
