Two secretaries of cooperative societies have been terminated from their services for their alleged involvement in financial irregularities in Lakhimpur district of Uttar Pradesh, officials said on Tuesday.
Secretary of Kisan Sewa Samiti, Trilokpur, T N Verma and Secretary Sadhan Cooperative Society, Singawar Mahesh Chandra Yadav were terminated yesterday by Assistant Registrar, Cooperative B S Pandey after they were prima facie found involved in financial irregularities, they said.
While Verma is accused of Rs 14.86 lakh financial irregularity, Yadav allegedly committed irregularities worth Rs 5.25 lakhs, they said.
