The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Chandigarh, on Wednesday arrested Kulwant Singh Gill, The president of a house building cooperative societies was arrested in Chandigarh by CBI for demanding Rs 1 lakh from a local resident.
The arrested president Kulwant Singh Gill was caught red handed. Gill was harassing the complainant in transferring the share certificate. Despite many trip to his office the complainant was not given share certificate and was asked to pay a bribe instead.
Tired he contacted local anti corruption bureau which laid a trap and Gill was caught on the spot.
