We have a housing maintenance society in Goa and currently we are 6 members in the committee (including secretary, chairman, and treasurer). I understand that 9 persons are required. We have three society members who have expressed their interest in taking up these vacant posts. I would appreciate if you could let me know if these 3 can be coopted by the committee in the next committee meeting in July 2015 rather than have to wait for the Annual General Meeting to be held in early 2016.

Please read your Bye laws. Casual vacancies in the Committee are filled up by Committee and the incumbent serve till the original would have served on the Committee. General Meeting does not fill up casual vacancies.
