We give below details of NCUI election schedule for the benefits of cooperator. We believe that being the apex body of the cooperative movement in the country, NCUI would be more effective if it incorporates the voices from the remotest parts of the country.
The Election Programme follows :-
1.Publication of list of eligible voters on 26th February 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
2.Filling of nominations from candidates contesting for election till 13th March 2015 at 2:00 P.M.
3.Scrutiny of nomination done on 13th March 2015 at 3:00 P.M.
4.List of valid nominations will be on after scrutiny on 13th March 2015.
5.Withdrawal of Nomination on 14th March 2015 up to 3:00 P.M.
6.Final List of candidates after withdrawal on 14th March 2015 at 5:30 P.M.
7.Polling, if Required on 16th March 2015 from 11.00 A.M. to 1:00P.M.
8.Counting of votes and Declaration of Results will be done immediately after polling is over.
The special general body meeting will be held on 16th March 2015 in NCUI Complex located at August Kranti Marg, New Delhi from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The whole election process will be done under the V.P.Singh who is appointed as the election officer.
As soon as the members of governing council are elected on 16th March 2015, a meeting of the newly elected constituted GC of NCUI will be held in the board room of NCUI on the same date for the purpose of electing the president and two vice presidents.
NCUI’s Governing Council has 21 members including a government nominee and the Chief Executive.
