While chief minister and agriculture minister of Haryana never tire of talking about fertilizes in plentiful supply in the state, farmers not getting enough amount of fertilizers have been on the warpath.
They are venting out their anger holding demonstrations and blocking roads and highways across the state. Their main accusation is fertilisers are being hoarded in godowns and black-marketed.
Farmers’ claim proved true when farmers accompanied by officials and the police went to a godown in Devigarh Road and found hundreds of bags of urea, SSP and MOP lying there.
Later, 1500 bags of fertilisers were recovered from a godown belonging to Haryana Fertiliser at Pyoda Road.
