I am having a peculiar problem in the form of leakage from above. I reside in a one bhk apt in a cooperative society. For the last 5 years there is severe leakage in my flat from the flat above. The owner above does not want to get any work done nor does he intend sharing the cost. I have approached so many contractors and plumbers but nobody is in a position to trace the leakage. I continue to suffer. My request to the society has not met with much success either. They ask me to approach the BMC and state as the case is beyond their purview.
We are living in human conditions and most of the time we have to eat outside as the kitchen is filled with dirty water.

Your Society is clearly guilty of deficient services to its member. You need to obtain an order to that effect from the District Consumer Protection Forum which is neither an expensive affair nor a matter of protracted litigation.
