The Karnataka minister for cooperation and sugar H.S.Mahadeva prasad has said the govt would leverage cooperative network for distributing crop loans to the tune of Rs 10,000 crore in the current fiscal.
He was speaking in a function organized by the Kolar and Chickballapur district cooperative central bank. Reiterating his govt.’s resolve to uphold the interests of farmers, he said the govt would do its best to make agriculture a great success, he assured.
The minister underlined the importance of cooperatives and claimed daily milk procurement recently spiked to a whopping 60 lakh litre in the state.
Several prominent cooperators were present on the occasion.
