The largest farmers cooperative of the world IFFCO justified its pre-eminent position by bagging awards after awards at a function in N Delhi which was inaugurated by none less than the Union Minister of Chemical and Fertiliser Mr Anant Kumar.
A jubilant Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi called it a golden moment and instructed the photographer to capture the event, a daunting job given the expanse of the winning team even for a veteran. Anyway, the event was captured in all majesty and we are producing below the photograph with greening faces and contented expressions.

IFFCO has won close to ten awards such as award for Application of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) in Agriculture, its Paradeep unit got a special award for the Best Performance for 3 consecutive years as well as it bagged the Best Environment Protection Award for a NP/NPK Complex Fertiliser Plant. IFFCO Kandla Unit ended as joint runner up for Best Technical Innovation.
