Can a society issue an unsigned receipt on a printed paper saying that it is computer generated and signature not required?

This is a widely accepted practice not recognised in law. The Information Technology Act 2000 provides for a digital signature where a signature affixed by human hand with pen on paper is replaced formally through a procedure of registration of digital signature.
If you insist every receiver of money is obliged to issue a stamp receipt unless it is a cash payment against an instant delivery.
