In the last leg of his campaigning National Cooperative Union of India’s President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav has begun receiving full support from cooperative leaders cutting across party lines.

Leaders from the cooperative world are flocking to Jhansi to support to Mr Yadav who is pitted against the BJP firebrand leader Uma Bharati. The polling is scheduled for 30th April.

“I am talking to Manoj Pandit. After his initial hesitation, he has veered into supporting Chandra Palji’s candidature, Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Singh told Indian Cooperative whensunil-chnadrapal-350 this correspondent phoned him to find out Chandra Pal’s chances in the election. He was out in remote village in the Jhansi constituency.

“We want him to get elected and the entire cooperative fraternity has thrown its weight behind him. Only Yesterday has Nafed Chairman Bijendra Singh left Jhansi. He was camping here to help Chandra Palji, Sunil Singh added.

Talking about Chand Pal Singh’s poll chances Biscomaun Chairman said his chances of winning the poll are bright , though the contest is stiff.

NCUI President had been selected for the seat long ago by the Samajwadi Party and had been working assiduously in the constituency. It is time people reciprocated his love and hard work for Jhansi , an optimistic Singh told this correspondent.
