The youth form an overwhelming majority in India and their potential could be marshalled to give a new direction to the country. The students pursuing higher learning should not only excel in academics but also strive to become better human beings, remarked Dr. A.K. Bhutani, Joint Secretary Cooperation and Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies Govt. of India.

He was addressing the MBA students at Natesan Institute of Cooperative Management Chennai. The latter is a training branch of NCCT, New Delhi. ,

Bhutani underlined the importance of learning skills to be able to survive in a fiercely Bhutani-icm-chennaicompetitive environment. He greatly praised the efforts made in making available excellent infrastructural facilities for the benefit of the students on the NICM campus.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Mishra, Secretary, NCCT, New Delhi described the youth as game changers and urged them to work hard to accomplish things in the present turbulent time. As leaders, they could be positively influential not only at their work places but also in the wider society, Mr. Mishra added.

Dr. P. Jagannathan briefed about various activities of the NICM, and traced its evolution into a leading institution of management studies. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr.R.Gopalsamy, Deputy Director.
