IFFCO Managing Director K J Patel met Manmohan Samal, Rajya Sabha Member from Odisha, President of BJP’s Odisha unit and member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Chemicals and Fertilisers, to discuss fertiliser availability and farmer welfare.
Sharing details of the meeting, Patel said the interaction focused on ensuring fertiliser availability and strengthening extension services to educate farmers on the judicious and effective use of fertilisers.
The discussions also centred on empowering farmers with better awareness and guidance on fertiliser application, an important aspect of improving agricultural productivity and promoting responsible nutrient management.
Patel described the meeting as a valuable opportunity to exchange views with the senior Odisha leader on issues concerning the fertiliser sector and farmers’ welfare.
