The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Centre for Non-Profit Organisations (CNPO), organised a Capacity-Building Programme on Financial Management for Cooperative Societies in Kargil, in association with the Cooperation Department, Kargil.
The programme aimed to strengthen governance practices, improve financial management and enhance awareness among cooperative societies about regulatory compliance requirements.
The initiative is part of efforts to build institutional capacity and promote greater financial discipline, transparency and accountability within the cooperative sector.
