The National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India Ltd (NCCF) has organised a training-cum-sensitisation programme on public procurement, conduct rules and conflict of interest for its Branch Managers and other employees at its headquarters in New Delhi.
The programme was conducted by NCCF’s Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) to sensitise employees to the importance of transparency, accountability and ethical practices in official functioning.
The training focused on key aspects of public procurement and the need to adhere to established rules and procedures while undertaking official responsibilities. It also highlighted the importance of understanding conduct rules and identifying situations involving potential conflicts of interest.
The initiative seeks to strengthen vigilance awareness among NCCF personnel and promote a culture of integrity and good governance within the organisation.
As a cooperative institution engaged in consumer-related activities, NCCF’s adherence to transparent procurement practices is important for ensuring accountability in its operations. The programme reflects the federation’s emphasis on responsible decision-making, ethical conduct and compliance with applicable rules and guidelines.
